‘We don’t believe in gimmicks – just great service’
It is often said that moving house is one of the most stressful experiences in life, but choosing the right estate agent to handle your move can make all the difference between a stressful move and stressfree one.
At Osprey Property, they believe it is the small things that can make a big difference.
The firm has a straightforward approach to property sales and management. They don’t believe in gimmicks, just great service.
The Rutland and Stamford-based agent, which has recently moved to a new office in Stamford, focuses completely on the process of selling, renting and managing its clients’ properties.
With more than 60 years’ combined experience in property management and sales, they can confidently deliver an expert and professional service for every client.
The firm, which has branches in Burley Road, Oakham, and in Red Lion Street, Stamford, as well as offices in Kettering and Hull, sets itself apart from other agents by making things as easy as possible for their clients in a number of ways.
This includes accompanying prospective buyers on all property viewings, which can be time consuming for sellers. Buyers are often more honest in their feedback when they are dealing with an agent, and this feedback can be passed immediately back to the sellers to help them address any problems.
Clients also benefit from the continuity provided by dealing with a small and friendly team.
Led by sales director Jamie Tyler and lettings director Alice Verity, who both have more than 20 years’ experience in estate agency, they handle all aspects of the home-selling and renting process.
“We are all local to the area and all experienced in estate agency,” Jamie said.
As the business grows, they are also looking to grow the team, and anyone interested in joining them is welcome to pop into one of the offices for a chat.
The Stamford office has recently relocated to Red Lion Street, which is a busy thoroughfare right in the heart of town.
Jamie and the team believe that having a physical office, where clients can pop in for a chat and keep up-to-date with the progress of their sale, is key to the success of the business.
Another thing that sets Osprey apart from its competitors is being open seven days a week.
The office at nearby Oakham has opened on Sundays for several months, which has proved successful.
Jamie said: “A lot of agents are not open on a Sunday any more, so I felt it was something we could do to provide a better service.
Although Osprey offers an excellent level of customer service their fees are competitive with other agents.
“And I can genuinely say that in Oakham and Stamford we have had nothing but good recommendations,” Jamie said.
