A late market causes a busy Summer

Your Summer Update from Osprey Property

We recently talked about the delayed and busy spring surge in the property market. This is ongoing and currently buffering right up to the Summer holidays with Valuations still being booked daily.

However many of the houses that were available for sale during the hugely busy period between April and July are now SOLD and traditionally people believe it is now September when people will next start looking at property…

…This is no longer the case

Summer house hunters still want viewings

Experience of recent years has shown us that as holiday packages become more expensive when school’s finish for Summer and the fact that not all school holidays match, people are opting to find the cheapest holidays available right at the start of the Summer.

What’s more many people are choosing NOT to go on a holiday at all this year, preferring to concentrate on other things in a year which began in a set of rather confusing circumstances.

That leaves 6 weeks with a list of existing home hunters twiddling their thumbs wishing there were more houses to look at.

Our waiting list of prospective property buyers are still on the look out out for the right property even though the sun is high in the sky.

The chances are, that right now, your property and garden looks at its best. It’s in full bloom, and illuminated in the best possible way for taking photographs ready for your marketing.

If you would like to discuss options available and how you could steal a march on the September rush, or would simply like an idea of the value of your property then give the office a quick call and we will be happy to chat.

Community projects and events supported by Osprey Property

This year Osprey Property has continued to support local events at the heart of the community. Being local people we enjoy attending Rutland and Stamford events with our families and know how important it is to support local.

Most recently we supported the Empingham School Fete with advertising and giveaways for the children. The event was enjoyed by hundreds of people and hailed as a successful and fun event for the whole family.

We also promote Rutland Farm Park regularly, which is another excellent local facility for families to enjoy all year round. Home to all manner of farm animals and a fantastic tea room too. You can find out more about Rutland Farm Park here:  https://www.rutlandfarmpark.co.uk

Date for your diary:

Look out for banners on Rutland’s roadsides in early August promoting the Langham Street market which takes place on August Bank Holiday 26th. The event is a fun day out as well as the street market with a fun dog show, classic car event and a children’s play area among other things.
